I've had this place on my radar for about a year and we finally made it in last night! In a very unassuming spot I didn't know what I was expecting but it's a really unique place! My first tip- go ahead and make a reservation to be safe. You need to give them a call. We probably wouldn't have needed one last night because it wasn't super busy (Friday at 7:00, Easter weekend) but we attempted to go 3 weeks prior, on at Saturday at 6:30 and it was PACKED with no promise of being able to get a table. Just depends on the weekend I guess! My second tip- just Uber there or be prepared to park elsewhere. The lot is really tiny and a little troublesome to get in and out of. It's BYOB so bring along your favorite wines or beer and they will open it for you at no fee. We both went for the Sultan's feast which was perfect for us...didn't have to think about anything and they coursed everything out perfectly. Sultan's feast for us included: -lentil soup (so classic and tasty) -curried carrots and hummus with pita (the carrots were such a pleasant surprise. Hummus was perfect) -a phyllo dough with egg and almond (again, such a pleasant surprise...was more savory than I expected but so good) -chicken in a sweet sauce paired with a mint yogurt sauce (the main brain sauce was a tad sweet for my liking, but balanced so nicely with the yogurt sauce) -a stewed beef with peas (my favorite dish of the night) -couscous with vegetables (truly, how can you go wrong with this?) -finished with a baklava type dessert and mint tea (tea was a lot sweeter than we were expecting. I honestly didn't know it would be sweetened at all! but I appreciate it's cultural prevalence) Staff was so nice, belly dancers were great entertainment, and the whole experience was fun. You know the food is good when you leave satisfied/full but no stomach ache or discomfort! Haha Can't wait to come back! Would make a great spot to bring out of town visitors.

Wanted to try out Moroccan cuisine and found out about Casablanca. The website wasn't very informative nor had any information for reservations so we just walked in. We were the first people that evening so we did feel a bit weird looking at the ambience and low lighting and low seating. The staff was not super pleasant and actually gave us the wrong menus so we didn't even know what to order. Finally after getting the correct menus and realizing that they only have 2 pre fixed menu choices, we opted for the Sultans Feast. As the food started to come in, we were amazed to see the variety and deliciousness of each dish. The lentil soup, hummus, filo bread dish and the entrees (couscous with veggies, beef tajine, honey chicken) were all fantastic. The dinner ended with baklava and mint tea. There was also a belly dancing performance which was wonderful. It was the perfect entertainment to a great delicious meal. Totally enjoyed our time and will be back again for more.
