You know it's the best when it's featured in Netflix's Beef... I go here every time I need a pick-me-up with the most fulfilling, healthy bone broth in town. The secret is enormous scoops of green onions and a dash of salt! Their appetizers (kimchi, pickled radish) are very fresh and are a good cool break from the hot soup. Ample parking too. Service is INCREDIBLY fast, would definitely recommend to anyone!

Still my favorite place to get beef soup, it's definitely FOR THE SOUL. Fast eats. I come here every year because it is my aunt's favorite in all of ktown LA. The taste is always consistent so is the service. Nothing really fancy people all come here for business - eat soup and leave! Everyone is to themselves too. Just how I like it to be honest. They are always so real for giving a whole bucket of green onions and scissors for the kimchi. Just a bit sad they always increase the prices every time I come! (If you see my old price it was 16.44 with tax now it's $20!)

This is a place to get your no frills beef soup. Perfect for recovering hangovers and if you need some liquid nourishment. The soup is unsalted so add all the green onions, pepper and salt to your taste. We order the brisket soup. The milky broth was rich and beefy. Service was quick and efficient but they will not likely notice you need a refill on tea. Ambiance is very causal. The restaurant is narrow and a bit loud. Overall, the food is good but I think I prefer the taste of pork soup more.

Han Bat is the definition of chicken soup for the soul - there's a reason why it has remained so popular for so many years. Service was very busy when we arrived on a Friday night, but we were still able to find free parking in the back lot. The staff was very attentive and accommodating for our group of five which changed to six last minute, including a baby who had the best time (high chairs are available by the way for those with kiddos). There's something very comforting and nostalgic about the place, with its simple no nonsense seating like you're eating at home, and stainless steel rice bowls like they serve in Korean dramas. Their delicious bone broth is the only thing served on the menu, so as not to detract quality from quantity. Prices remain reasonably cheap despite ongoing inflation. I got the beef brisket, which paired with a bowl of rice, was the best and most filling meal I've had in a long time. Finally their kimchi, both cabbage and radish versions, is their secret sauce. The strong, tangy side dishes pair extremely well with the light milky beef broth, and had us asking for seconds (and thirds) for our meal.

Sul lung tang is my favorite korean soup... and this place is hands down the best in my humble opinion. Even my bro who isn't much into korean soups (oddly) , enjoyed it. That says a lot! Its comfort food that's so tasty and so good for you. The kimchee perfectly fermented had great tangy flavor which balanced well with the milky/creamy mild in flavor broth. Btw, the togo kimchee was very generous. You will also receive: salt, green onion, chili paste, and rice - to individually customize your soup! This place reminds of the comforts of home with its simplicity, ease in seating, and great food. Planning on coming here whenever I am in koreatown.... It's that good!

honestly food was so good, nothing else matters. we got the tender beef 살고기 and intestines seolleongtang, i wanna try their bossam next time. service is okay, they're pretty fast but you have to ask for what you want, korean style! classic resto in ktown, v similar to a dining exp in korea i miss the seolleongtang in korea but this makes me miss it less
